The Texan was trying to impress on the New Englander the valor of the heroes of the Alamo.
"I bet they were braver than any man from your part of the country," he declared.
"I suppose you've never heard of Paul Revere?" the New Englander countered.
"Sounds familiar," the Texan said. "Isn't that the guy who ran for help?"
